Stories Of: Women + Kidd Bell  are looking for a producer/manager. The ideal candidate is creative, extremely detail-oriented, organized and is able to keep their many roles within the company running smoothly.

Stories Of: Women is a traveling non-profit Vulnerability Variety Show that explores our undiscussed emotions through storytelling, live music, comedy and poetry. With each new city comes a new theme (Stories Of: Jealousy, Stories Of: Shame, Stories of: Grief… etc.). The producer would have an integral role in the curation, coordination, development and production of all events, including our upcoming show at The Apollo Theater.

Kidd Bell is an ethical e-commerce company that partners notable people with non-profits to create merchandise that empowers the customer while supporting the community. We have raised $90K to date for both local and global 501c3s. The producer would be in charge of the day to day operations and team management.

We are looking for a motivated and capable self-starter to join our intimate, grass roots team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a passion for social justice who wants to help make tangible change in their community.

Duties For Stories Of Women:

  • Venue scouting, contracts, negotiations and logistics
  • Price comparison, sourcing and budgeting
  • A/V planning and execution
  • Oversee venue and artist contracts
  • Manage sponsorship and artist communications
  • Manage all onsite activities including set-up and execution of decor and rentals and volunteer/production team coordination with great judgement and problem solving ability under time pressure

Duties For Kidd Bell:

  • Maintaining Excel charity donations, influencer payments, gifting expenses and various budgets
  • Graphic design of line sheets, catalogs, web assets and promotional material (if you have Adobe knowledge)
  • New product R&D and comparison shopping while preserving Kidd Bell's ethical and sustainable product standards
  • Managing all employee Timesheets and delivering files to accounting in timely manner
  • Accounts receivable for wholesale and consignment
  • Maintaining updated break even price models and lead times records for review and use by accounting
  • Assist in developing policies and procedures with Founder & Financial adviser that support business objectives and improve efficiency
  • Assist Fulfillment manager in maintaining organization of merchandise both online and in office
